From July 14th to 26th, 2025, the Faculty of Computing of Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT), in collaboration with the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) of Russia and Beijing Zhongguancun University, host the SMILES2025 International Summer School in Harbin. The event adopted a "lecture + group project" model, focusing on four cutting-edge directions: Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing (LLM&NLP), Computer Vision (CV), Trusted Artificial Intelligence Technology (Safe AI), and Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology (Gen AI). It attracted 90 students from China, Russia, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Cambodia, Nigeria and other countries to participate offline, as well as over 300 Russian students to participate online. Thirty experts and scholars from the three host universities gave lectures, building an interdisciplinary and cross-border academic bridge for outstanding students at home and abroad, and promoting the research and application of artificial intelligence technology innovation.
