The center (ICES) has branches at Harbin, Weihai and Shenzhen campus. There are 9 teachers in Harbin, including 4 professors, 3 associate professors, 5 Ph. D student supervisor. There are also 12 teachers at Weihai campus and Shenzhen campus, including 4 professors and 4 associate professors. The main research fields of the center include: software service engineering and service computing, cloud computing and cloud services, enterprise computing and integration technology, enterprise resource management and logistics supply chain, software architecture and software reuse, internet of things, business intelligence and big data analysis, intelligent service application, etc. In recent years, it has undertaken more than 50 National 863 Programs, National key R & D Programs, National Natural Science Foundation key projects, provincial and ministerial key projects, international cooperation and enterprise cooperation projects. It has won 7 provincial/ministerial scientific and technological progress awards, published more than 400 high-level papers, and won more than 50 patents and software copyrights. The research achievements have been transferred to software products which were deployed in hundreds of enterprises with remarkable benefits. The center cooperates closely with a number of internationally renowned universities. Its main professors have served as general chair/co-chair, program committee chair/co-chair of top and important international conferences in relevant fields for more than 30 times. Prof. Xu Xiaofei was awarded the "Outstanding Leadership Award" by IEEE Computer Society's Technical Committee on Services Computing (TCSVC).
