The center has 5 full-time faculty members, 2 part-time teachers, including 4 professors , 2 associate professors and 1 assistant professor, including 4 doctoral supervisors, more than 20 doctoral students and 30 master students. 1 academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences and the Academy of engineering of Canada, 2 Distinguished National Expert, 1 IEEE Fellow, 3 IEEE Senior Members, and 1 NCET scholars. The main research fields of the center include cross-modal intelligence, machine learning, virtual physiological human body, biometric recognition, image and signal processing, medical image analysis, data mining, etc. Our center has published over 300 papers in international academic peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including more than 30 IEEE Trans papers and more than 30 CVPR/ICCV/ICML/ACM MM/NIPS/MICCAI papers. Recently, our center has undertaken many projects, including those supported by National key R & D projects, projects of National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China（NSFC), and some international cooperative projects. The center has won 1 second prize for National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first prize for Natural Science Award of Heilongjiang Province, and 2 second prizes for Science and Technology Progress Award of Heilongjiang Province. 1 second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, 3 first prizes of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and 3 second prizes of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.
