Dr. Daniel P. Siewiorek, part-time doctoral supervisor and adjunct professor of the discipline of computer architecture at HIT. He is the Academician of U.S. National Academy of Engineering, Buhl University Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University ((the most honored title in CMU), Director Human-Computer Interaction Institute. He has ever been the chair of fault tolerant committee of IEEE. In 1980, as the head, he led the first scientist delegation of USA to visit China. He constantly presided over international conferences as the general chair and hold the editorial post in many international academic journals. Dr. Sieworek has published over 500 papers. His research interests are focused on Wearable Computers, Context-Aware Computing, Fault-tolerant Computing, Reliable Computing, Computer-aided Design, Computer Architecture, Design Automation and Rapid Prototyping.
