    The Research Center of Fault Tolerant and Mobile Computing was founded in 2003, and it has now 14 faculty members, among whom are 5 doctoral supervisors (including 1 CMU guest professor), 5 associate professors, and 4 lecturers. It has the permission to train doctoral candidates and masters in computer architecture. Currently 4 post doctors, 24 doctors and 85 masters have graduated, and there are 2 post doctoral degree candidates, 30 doctoral degree candidates and 20 master's degree candidates.

    Research fields: computer architecture, mobile computing, wearable computing, dependability computing, computer performance assessment, etc. It undertakes the courses of mobile computing, computer organization, computer architecture, computer design and practice, etc.

    In recent years, it has undertaken over 20 research projects, including projects from the National Natural Science Foundation, National 863 Key Project, National Defense Pre-researc Projects, etc. 6 Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards are obtained and over 200 papers are published, 20 of which can be indexed by SCI and EI. At present, it has undertaken over 15 scientific research projects with more than 75 million funds.
